MOMENTUM
PLANNER
A minimalistic framework to turn projects into daily actions, reflect meaningfully, and get results
DOWNLOADTHE PERFECT PRODUCTIVITY SYSTEM DOESN’T EXIST
Have you ever tried so many productivity systems that they all start to blur together? I’ve dabbled in just about every method out there—from the Action Method to Bullet Journaling, GTD, and a slew of planners all promising to be the “ultimate solution.”
That’s why I love the idea of micro-frameworks and systems. They’re simple and consistent, rather than forcing another big, anxiety-inducing method into my routine. I wanted something flexible, mobile, and not too demanding, so I could stay consistent.
THE MOMENTUM PLANNER
Drawing from all of this, I developed a minimalistic framework that became the Momentum Planner.
The pillars:
Rhythm and Focus. Define Objectives, derive Projects, and focus on the right Actions. Track Progress, then cycle through observing, reflecting and correcting.
These rules are simple:
- ◘ Quarterly Pages: Set clear Objectives each quarter, keeping goals attainable and motivation high. Reflect on the previous quarter. Celebrate what worked and create hypotheses to improve what didn’t.
- ◘ Weekly Pages: Establish a rhythm. Define Projects based on your Objectives, and track your progress.
- ◘ Daily Pages: Break projects into actionable tasks. What are the most impactful actions you can take today? Plan your focus and metrics. Aim for two—max three—main tasks. Use daily pages to track habits and reflect, keeping a sharp focus on what really matters.
THE OSCILLATION BETWEEN WORLDS
But that was not enough. For years, I bounced back and forth.
- Paper gave me focus and a physical connection to my tasks.
- Digital offered organization and persistence.
But neither felt complete on its own. Paper notes piled up and became hard to track. Digital felt too impersonal and made it easy to get distracted—and lose momentum.
MARRYING PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL
Frustrated by the constant switching, I wanted something that combined the best of both worlds. I needed a way to seamlessly integrate my handwritten notes into my digital life. That’s why I developed the Momentum Obsidian plugin.
The idea is simple: You take a picture of your planner pages, and the notes are converted into Markdown files—searchable, editable, and easily stored.
WHY I'M SHARING
This system had an incredible impact on me and my ability to organize my ideas, turn them into projects, and finally implement them.
I encourage you to give it a try. Tweak it if you like, make it yours—but keep it simple. Focus on what really matters.

I will keep iterating and iterating to Momentum. Both the framework itself and the software for digitizing pages.
